What you should expect from your Certified Professional Groomer:

Most Certified Professional Groomers will keep your Pet for at least a couple of hours, whether it be a rural or a city pending on the shape your pet is in. It is important to arrive at your appointment on time as this allows your Certified Professional Groomer to work with your Pet in comfort. This will help make the process of enjoying the pleasure of proper grooming for your pet and a pleasing experience for you as well.

It is also extremely important for YOU to have a Happy Loving sense to see your Pet regardless what they look like. YOU would be the one who would come in and finish the pleasure of the day. If you sound or look angry, your Pet will feel they did something wrong and make their next visit very unpleasant as they sense they will be in trouble when they arrive to, what should be a pleasant, comfortable and relaxing grooming. However, if you do have an issue, it must of course be spoken about, and there are reasons for everything as well as solutions. So please try and make your Pet feel no way is it their fault, nor the Certified Professional Groomer, as any negative reaction, would be caused and implanted by yourself, forever.

A Certified Professional Grooming will always include a bath, blow out, nail clipping, and ear cleaning. This should not be considered extra services. However anything other then that is considered as extra. Dematting is extra, as well as complete shave down, senior care, and scissor cut. It is important that your Certified Professional Groomer be experienced in handling all types of breeds as proper care varies with different breeds and ages. For example, some breeds cannot be shaved or clipped and other breeds cannot be shaved or clipped for the first year. Some are Senior pets and need special care, as well as, the devastated abused, being able to predict their move with the sensitive parts that are known by themselves, as immediate death.

Your Certified Professional Groomer should be knowledgeable on skin conditions, preventive, sustaining and maintaining all conditions. They will also know if the skin condition should be medicated and will be able to make Vet referrals when applicable. Lumps, bumps and soars need to be identified at early stages, and could save you on many Vet bills or even save your pets life. Yes, anyone can cut or shave hair, but do they really know what they are doing? Very Sad But True, a Hair Dresser of Human Hair, had taken it upon herself to groom her own dog, and with no knowledge of what to expect as early warnings signs in pet hair condition, had the end result, that it went unidentified until her pet passed on.

It is a myth that all dogs with long hair should be shaved down because it's too, hot for them. Long haired coats can be used for all elements of the weather, providing that they are kept in the command of maintenance and care. Heavily matted pets, are not getting any protection from any environmental weather of the four seasons.........you are hurting your family Pet by not getting rid of the matt's and up keep on the brushing........high maintenance means at least brush once a day.......or at least every second day, and must be done from the skin out...........if you can not do this, the breed with high maintenance is not for you...................

A regular Certified Professional Grooming (seasonally) with regular breed maintainance, will maintain your dog to allow the comforts of their styles, which are usually the reason for purchase of the breed. One needs to do serious home work on maintenance and care for that particular breed, and all Certified Professional Groomers will be able to obtain the style of your pet for the enjoyment of how they look as well as, the health factor of being able to be itself. There is really no need to completely shave.

All Groomers should be and will have to obtain Certification of some sort of Recognized Schooling in the upcoming future.

All dogs need more then real meat to obtain a proper coat and diet. Remember a Certified Professional Groomer can tell what kind of diet your Pet might be lacking and could aid in your Pets health, hot spots, allergies, simply medicated baths can cure several issues........medical referrals to Vets usually before danger and costly zone .....any questions could and would be answered by Contacting Smal Bullies today to book your Pet an appointment.
